June is a Busy Birthday Month in Our Family!


Another Great Week in St. Maarten. 

After Apartment Checks the missionaries were delighted with a few new needed items . Among them were New Bunkbeds for the Phillipsburg Elders and New Shower Curtains for the Cole Bay Sisters. It doesn't take a Lot to put a smile on their faces. We are grateful that they are well taken care of on their missions.










Even their vehicles are kept in great shape for their safety and comfort.

Transfer Week had us bidding Farewell to Sister Cruz and Elder Durfey. We wish them well in their New Areas.

What a treat to Elder Lacey and Elder Hunter join us this week ..Elder Hunter was able to add his name to our Missionary Wall of Fame with his favourite quote or scripture. 








Preparation day,( every Monday), included a busy day this week of packing, visits, and goodbyes for our Two departing Missionaries. Lots of hugs , Treats, and Smiles!









Our First Trip to the Airport Today brought Sister Bodily and Elder Fer. Sister Bodily is from North Carolina and Elder Fer is from Suriname. And Yes, we knew him when we served in Suriname on # 2 Mission!










Our Second Trip to the Airport was to send off our Two Departing Missionaries Elder Durfey and Sister Cruz.

The Work Continues on... We have some Awesome Plans in the Works.. But Meanwhile a few visitors have come our way..
The first one was at our door when we arrived home. It took a little persuasion to have him allow us to enter our flat.....




I guess we aren't the only ones who like to walk at the track! Luckily all our missionaries enjoy an early morning start to each day. We have met many new friends here and everywhere we happen to go. There are many being taught and Great things are starting to happen here.

Luckily Sister Bodily plays a little Piano....Everyone is Working Hard finding ways to show Love and kindness to all we meet.






We Love Being a Part of this Great Work! We seem to be finding New and Past Members everywhere we go!

 What a fun filled Week  The Caribbean had a Mission Tour Zoom Meeting Saturday and Sunday with Elder Brent Nielson and Elder Gavarret and their wife's.  Wonderful uplifting messages. We were thrilled to hear there are 20,000 people a month being baptized into the church every month. There are 17 million members worldwide, 300 Temples, and 410 missions! In just one year Africa there were 50 stakes organized in Africa!  Two days later Our Mission President arrived for Zone Conference.  It has definitely been a week of miracles here. Its been exciting .I have started writing down daily miracles. Missions are definitely the Best Kept Secret! Preparing meals, listening to outstanding messages, Blessing the lives of others! We were even able to help Breah Hirsche celebrate here twelfth birthday!  Happy Birthday to Our Granddaughter RACHEL, February 25, 13 years old!! We Love You!! Have a good week!

                     Rainy Days and Sunshine! Three Wet Sisters! A Lovely visit with Sister Richardson Our son Doug joined us for Lunch.  Being part of the Entertainment Staff on the Cruiseboat,   it was a Bonus for him to have   Parents at one of the Port Locations! The Ship's Activity Director, Jem, joined us too! A PreparationDay Trip to the Phillipsburg Boardwalk... Transfers are Happening Tonight.  These Awesome Missionaries will find out who will be Going Where Very Soon. This may be the Last Posed Photo of this District Together. Sister Martin, Sister Cleverly, Elder Doyle Elder Tobler, Elder Tasini and Elder Verhaaren.  Decorating for Tomorrow's Talent Show  Sister Elizabeth does  an Awesome Job Tired but Happy The Sister are excited to End their Day!                    Stay Tuned Next Week  for The Talent Show!!!

Elder Verhaaren Receives a Gift From Home.  Then off we go to Parrot Ville Park! How Cool is That!!! A Visit with the George Family, their Daughter Sister Huggins, and two grandaughters. Fresh coconuts! A Great Day for Fishing! At the Pier.. The Weekly English Connect Class Some Extremely  Rainy Weather  Then Next Day An Awesome Sunny Day! It's enough to Get Your Goat!!!
