 Hello from St. Maarten!


Hard to believe January is not only here but half over! The time is quickly passing by....

We just had transfers and now have two new missionaries on the Island of St. Maarten. Elder Michaelson, who happens to be a cousin to one of our Suriname missionaries, Elder Dickie. Also Elder Sandberg , a brand new missionary fresh from the MTC. (Missionary Training Center)

Elder Michaelson is now companions with Elder Tapao. They serve on the French Side of the Island.



Elder Sandberg is serving with Elder Poulini in the Phillispburg Area.


Elder JnPaul and Elder Walsh serving in the Colebay Area.


This week began with a well attended Family Fun night.



A Busy Sunday with Lots of Wonderful members and Cruiseboat guests...



We taught our first Temple Prep Class for people going to the Temple in April. We were delighted to have three great people going for the first time.

Monday P-Day followed quickly with our usual interesting trips to the market..


Elder Esikia said goodbye and was off to Barbados...




Then President and Sister Bickmore Arrived with the A.P.'s(assistants to the president)

Interviews and Meal preps began.

Elder Walsh and Elder Jn Paul helped with the meal preparation for Zone Conference this time.




We had two missionaries in Transit that we took to the French Airpot...

Sister Temaiana and Elder Gasik.




The Next Day was Zone Conference.





Elder Vermeeren got an extra special surprise as this transfer(in three weeks) he celebrates yet another Birthday!


A Musical number was presented by the missionaries..

And because Missionaries are always hungry..Sister Barry invited all the Missionaries over for a Lovely Barbecued Meal!

St. Maarten is always a Busy place with the Most Wonderful People that you can imagine!
