Welcome to this Weeks Blog!
Thankyou for All the Birthday Wishes. Elder Vermeeren Had a Wonderful Day!
The Spirit of Elijah has been here in the Little Phillipsburg Branch. We have been blessed to have the Poussard's here this last month helping people find names for our up and coming Temple Trip to the Dominican Republic. They have served two missions to France and are an expert Family History Couple. They have been one of our many miracles here in St. Maarten. They have been busy with so many of the branch members as well as investigators. We have lots of names to take to the Santo Domingo Temple.
Our Temple Preparation Class is getting Larger Every Week. It is a Joy to see the enthusiasm that has taken over the branch here.
Our Friday Fun Nights have also been a Family History Night the last five weeks. We will be sad to see the Poussard's returning home on Monday. We have definitely seen divine help as we have sorted through bringing so many people to the temple. The last Temple trip was 2017.We have been working with many who are renewing temple recommends, some attending for the first time, some youth doing baptisms, some progressing on the covenant path, and some preparing to receive patriarchal blessings.A Spanish Patriarch will arrange to connect with the group in Santo Domingo. It is not an easy task for many who are making this trip.
P-Day was a Great Opportunity for the Elders to have a Hike up the Mountain and enjoy the Beautiful Views of the Island. Monkeys were sited along the trail. Of course that made their Day! Thankyou to Sister James, a member of a hiking club. She knows exactly where the best trails are.
Visiting and Teaching continues throughout the week...
We had a few days of crazy weather too this week....
Luckily we all shopped on P-Day Monday because after a few days of Rain and Stormy seas the Grocery stores were pretty empty. We are back to sunny skies now and the stores will get their deliveries tomorrow.
This Weekend will be transfers. We completed flat checks and vehicle checks making sure everyone has their flats clean and cars in good repair. No one knows who will be transferred, but a clean flat is always a welcome treat.
This is the Marigot Elders Flat, Elder Tapao and Elder Michaelson. Great Job Elders!
Everyone is Happy , Healthy, and Working Hard in St. Maarten!
Enjoy Your Week!
